Abstract
Four new briarane-type diterpenoids, briaexcavatolides S-V (1-4), have been isolated from a Formosan gorgonian Briareum excavatum. The structures, including the relative stereochemistry of these new metabolites, were established by extensive 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic methods and by comparison of the related spectral data with those of known analogues.Entities:
