Abstract
Several pathways for reactive species formation involving xenobiotic metabolism exist in the brain. They include oxidative activation by different enzymatic systems like cytochrome P-450 and monoamine oxidases, and superoxide radical production issued from reductive xenobiotic metabolism. They may contribute to cellular impairment observed in various physiopathological situations.Entities:
