Abstract
BACKGROUND: Patients with impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) have an increased risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) that is independent of traditional risk factors. Hence, slightly elevated glucose levels, even in the non-diabetic range, might be associated with increased macrovascular disease.Entities:
