Abstract
Splenic tumors are uncommon. Described is a 58-yr-old man with multiple hemangiopericytomas of the spleen. Hemangiopericytoma is categorized as a benign vascular tumor, but has a relatively high malignant potential. A review of the literature shows that the case we present is only the second ever reported of a tumor originating from the spleen. Radiological findings and the treatment of the tumor are discussed.Entities:
