Abstract
In this paper author described the significance of vestibular symptoms post stapedectomy in postoperative hearing improvement. Vertigo post stapedectomy was noted and spontaneous nystagmus, positional nystagmus and directional preponderance were examined. Postoperative hearing improvement in patients with and without vestibular symptoms was compared. Author maintained that recent symptoms of peripheral vestibular disfunction had made no difference in postoperative hearing improvement.Entities:
