Chlorides affect the toxicity of fluorides to rainbow trout.

Abstract

Results of an experiment designed to test the effect of chloride ion concentration on fluoride toxicity to rainbow trout (Salmo gairdnerii) indicated that tempering fish to chloride reduced their response to fluoride.
