[Traumatic hematoma of the adrenal gland simulating pheochromocytoma. A case report].

M Brückner1, M Dürig.

Abstract

A young man with Weber B fracture had adrenalectomy under the suspicion of pheochromocytoma on the right side. Surprisingly hematoma of the right adrenal gland was found. This case is presented to point out the mechanism of trauma and diagnostic possibilities of the injury.
