Abstract
This paper examines critical issues faced by Latino PWAs and offers suggestions for meeting the needs for community support and care of Latino PWAs and their families. As HIV disease is shifting increasingly to minority communities, social workers need to consider new approaches to developing community care. Drawing on the strengths and informal support networks of the Latino community, the authors suggest ways in which these strengths can form the basis of service strategies that will effectively meet the needs of Latino PWAs.Entities:
