Abstract
The coeliac trunk is a wide branch of the abdominal aorta which arises from just below the aortic hiatus. It is about 1.25 cm. long (5). In our cadaver the length of the coeliac trunk was observed to be 4.5 cm. Additionally the inferior phrenic arteries which normally arise from the abdominal aorta were derived from the coeliac artery.Mesh：
