Abstract
The world literature since 1962 gives further substantiation of the usefulness of serologic measurement of glutamic-oxalacetic transaminase (GOT) activity and lactic dehydrogenase (LDH) activity in the diagnosis of myocardial infarction. LDH has not been found superior to GOT. The isoenzymes of LDH are now creating more and more interest because of their specificity for damage in various organs.
