Abstract
We report the case of a 4-month-old child with purpura fulminans caused by Haemophilus influenzae type b. In addition to conventional therapy, she was treated with hyperbaric oxygen, and made a full recovery. Hyperbaric oxygen as an adjunct to other therapy in purpura fulminans is discussed.Entities:
