Abstract
Lipodystrophies are rare disorders of adipose tissue metabolism. Two forms are recognised--partial or generalised. Though loss of body fat is a common feature these have been considered mutually exclusive clinical entities making any unifying pathophysiological concept difficult. We report, for the first time, a case of partial lipodystrophy affecting the face which progressed to become generalised.Entities:
