Reconstruction of the pelvic ring after tumour resection.

Abstract

Three different types of vascularised bone grafts have been used to reconstruct the pelvic ring after resection of tumours. Rapid bone healing is guaranteed and the period of rehabilitation is lessened compared with conventional methods.
