SEROMUCOID, GROUND SUBSTANCE, AND HYPOTHYROIDISM.

A CAMPBELL, E CAMERON, A MOLLISON.

Abstract

Seromucoid levels were investigated in four patients with primary hypothyroidism. The administration of L-thyroxine produced a significant and sustained rise in seromucoid concentration above normal. Possible reasons for this response are discussed.
