Abstract
Intact conjunctiva and conjunctival extracts have a strong inhibitory effect upon Candida albicans. The fungistatic effect is not attributable to antimetabolic action and is not caused by lysozyme or tears, neither of which inhibit growth and viability of Candida albicans.Entities:
