Abstract

Liver cells from homozygous embryonic mice were subjected to serial passage through appropriate thymectomized and sham-thymectomized F(1) hybrids. Passage through a nonthymectomized host was required for maturation and/or proliferation of the potential immunologically competent cells in the embryonic liver
