Abstract
During a 2-year period, 46 patients with upper urinary obstructions (intrinsic obstruction and extrinsic compression) underwent treatment with a flap valve indwelling double-pigtail stent. Our subsequent analysis suggests that a flap valve at the lower end of a conventional ureteral stent can effectively prevent reflux in the upper urinary tract, and reduce discomfort and pain in the flank region during micturition.Entities:
