Abstract
In this study differences in the biochemical properties of 4-aminobutyric acid aminotransferase (GABA-T) from forebrain and cerebellum were detected. These differences may be related to: a) the characteristics of the catalytic site, b) the substrate affinities and c) their pyridoxal-phosphate requirements which suggests that PLP could be a physiological regulator of these forms of brain GABA-T.Entities:
