Abstract
General equations are given for computing the results of any (j+j) dose parallel line biological assay based on an incomplete block design. Only the information from comparisons within blocks is used. The computation is illustrated numerically by means of a (2+2) assay of gastrin devised and performed by Lai (1962), in which only three of the four doses could be given to each animal.Entities:
