Abstract
Tests with blood typing antisera revealed that antigens of the A, D, and L blood group systems are erythrocyte specific, while antigens of the B and C systems are common to lymphocytes and erythrocytes. Injection of day-old chicks with erythrocytes inhibited production of agglutinins for lymphocytes as well as erythrocytes when subsequent immunizations were attempted.Entities:
