Rotation of a skin flap from the side of the finger to the volar surface in the treatment of Dupuytren's disease.

F Laurenza1, A Gensini.

Abstract

The authors illustrate the technique of rotation of a skin flap from the side of a finger in the treatment of severe Dupuytren's disease especially when localized in the fourth or fifth ray. The results in 20 cases with an average follow-up of 8 months are evaluated, and the indications and advantages over other surgical techniques are stated.
