Abstract
Morphological changes at the cell level have been produced experimentally by a pulsed ruby laser (optical maser). A pulse duration of approximately 500 microseconds caused discrete damage to structures in the cell without irreversible damage to the surrounding area.Keywords: ALGAE; CYTOLOGY; RADIATION EFFECTS
