Carcinoma in the gastric remnant after partial gastrectomy for benign ulceration. A study of three cases illustrating the diagnostic contribution of exfoliative cytology.

Abstract

Three patients are described in whom cancer was found in the gastric remnants years after partial gastrectomy for benign gastric ulceration. In each case the diagnosis was established by cytological examination of gastric washings.
