Abstract
Hypersomatotropism is accompanied by a significant increase in GFR and RPF. A case of a patient with acromegaly and supranormal renal function as measured by inulin and p-aminohippurate clearances is reported. The literature regarding the effects of growth hormone on renal function is reviewed, and the potential mechanisms of action and therapeutic implications of these effects are discussed.Entities:
