Abstract
Postoperative superior mesenteric arteriovenous fistula is very rare. We report the case of a 55-year-old woman in whom the discovery of an abdominal bruit led to the diagnosis of superior mesenteric arteriovenous fistula seven years after ileal resection. The clinical and pathophysiological aspects, as well as the therapeutic modalities, of this rare lesion are reviewed.Entities:
