Abstract
Human erythrocytes with deficient glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase levels are unable to maintain their levels of reduced glutathione in the presence of low-level, steady-state concentrations of hydrogen peroxide. This finding has bearing on the biochemical mechanisms of drug-induced hemolytic anemia.Entities:
