Abstract
The movement of macromolecules between the nucleus and cytoplasm is tightly controlled. In the past few years it has become increasingly apparent that nuclear traffic is regulated not only by recognition of specific signals on proteins and RNAs, but also by cellular factors that modulate the efficacy with which these signals are recognized.Mesh:
