Abstract
Epithelial-myoepithelial carcinomas comprise approximately 1% of all salivary gland neoplasms. They are preponderantly tumors of the parotid glands with a relatively low mortality but a decided locoregional aggressiveness. Histopathologically, the carcinomas are characterized by a dual cell population of epithelial (ductal) cells and myoepithelial cells.
