Abstract
The authors describe a case of HBsAg positive liver cirrhosis and elevated alpha-fetoprotein value (AFP) where imaging techniques failed to detect focal liver changes. Diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma was reached by ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration biopsy of portal vein thrombosis.Entities:
