Abstract
A 47-year-old man with acute lymphocytic leukemia was admitted in intensive care unit (ICU) because of respiratory failure. He had febrile neutropenia and probable invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IA). Amphotericin B renal toxicity and clinical deterioration prompted a shift to caspofungin and resulted in a successful response.Entities:
