Abstract
Two new phenylpropanoid glycosides, leonosides A and B, and two known glycosides lavandulifolioside and verbascoside, were isolated from the aerial parts of Leonurus glaucescens. On the basis of chemical and spectral evidence, leonosides A and B were shown to be beta-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-ethyl-O-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl-(1---- 2)-alpha-L- rhamnopyranosyl-(1----3)-4-O-feruloyl-beta-D-glucopyranoside and beta-(3-hydroxy, 4-methoxyphenyl)-ethyl-O-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl-(1----2)- alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1----3)-4-O-feruloyl-beta-D-glucopyranosi de, respectively.Entities:
