Abstract
Hepatitis C is a global public health problem, and a major cause of chronic hepatitis. The virus can cause cirrhosis, liver failure and primary liver cancer. Combination therapy is effective in 50-60 per cent of patients with chronic infection. Prevention initiatives should target high-risk groups, such as injecting drug users.Entities:
