Abstract
A series of substituted pyrimidylaminophenylarsonic acids have been prepared, reduced to the corresponding oxophenylarsines and finally, in certain cases, to the arsenobenzenes. The tervalent arsenicals were highly active against Trypanosoma rhodesiense in mice. 4-(2:6-Diaminopyrimid-4-ylamino)phenyloxoarsine either as the insoluble carbonate or the soluble isethionate was the most promising of these compounds.Entities:
