Abstract
477 Békésy audiograms were classified according to Jerger, and the percentage rates of the individual types were juxtaposed as concerns the frequency-sliding and frequency-constant methods. By means of the frequency-constant method a higher percentage of pathological conditions can be demonstrated. In two patients with retro-cochlear defects (pontine-angle tumor) the defect cannot be pinpointed at all by means of the frequency-sliding method. The results are demonstrated to depend on the frequency in the case of the frequency-constant method.Entities:
