Preparation of lyophilized rabies street virus material from infective submaxillary glands for challenge purposes.

Abstract

A method is described for the preparation of lyophilized rabies street virus material from infected submaxillary glands for challenge purposes. The lyophilized material gives consistent and reproducible results on intracerebral or intramuscular titration over long periods.
