Abstract
Recent work has greatly expanded our knowledge of the structure, regulation and diversity of enzymes involved in the synthesis and degradation of cyclic nucleotides. This review focuses on recent work that provides insight into the structure and function of the cyclases and phosphodiesterases that regulate cyclic nucleotide metabolism. Particular emphasis is given to the roles played by multiple isoforms of each enzyme system.Entities:
