Abstract
The pigment yields of Onosma paniculatum callus and suspension cultured cells were increased 5.5 and 8.1 fold of that of the control respectively, when 10(-5) M of copper ion was added into the medium. The pigments synthesis was also stimulated greatly when 10(-5) M of L-phenylalanine was added into the medium and the cells were cultured for twenty-one days. The maximum yield of pigments was obtained when 10(-6) M of ascorbic acid was added to the medium.Entities:
