Abstract
A case is presented of small bowel obstruction due to an intra-abdominal abscess as a complication of stones left behind during laparoscopic cholecystectomy. It is suggested that a concerted effort be made to remove all stones spilled in the peritoneal cavity and that a therapeutic course of broad-spectrum antibiotic be instituted.Entities:
