Abstract
There have been many recent developments in techniques for the diagnosis of malaria. The quantitative buffy coat (QBC) system and immunological and molecular biological methods are discussed, and compared with the present slide microscopic methods for the diagnosis of malaria. The suitability of each of these techniques for use in the field is reviewed.Entities:
