Abstract
In this brief article we report on two HIV-negative patients with documented oral hairy leukoplakia who had no known risk factors for HIV infection nor any evidence of other forms of immune suppression. Therefore we conclude that in some instances hairy leukoplakia can represent an isolated and innocuous Epstein-Barr virus infection.Entities:
