A case report of intraoperative ultrasonic exploration for an inferior vena cava thrombectomy of the right Wilms' tumor.

Abstract

The intraoperative ultrasonic explorations for a case of right Wilms' tumor with inferior vena cava thrombosis are reported. This method of assessment is most appropriate for cases of inferior vena cava thrombectomy of malignant tumors either with or without an inferior vena cava resection.
