Abstract
The complex relationship between neuronal cells and the extracellular matrix molecules with which they interact both positively and negatively is currently being investigated on many fronts. Major areas of experimental emphasis include the characterization of an increasing number of extracellular matrix and cell surface associated molecules, the identification of receptors for these molecules, and the analysis of the function of extracellular matrix molecules with respect to neuronal process outgrowth.Mesh:
