Abstract
We report a case of cerebral infarction in the basal territory of the left middle cerebral artery, associated with acute posterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy, most probably due to sarcoidosis. Neurological symptoms resolved spontaneously without sequelae. We discuss the relationship between acute posterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy, sarcoidosis and cerebral granulomatous angiitis.Entities:
