Abstract
The ankle is the site of many sports-related injuries. There is, however, continued debate over which treatment strategies are most effective for various conditions. This article reviews the relevant literature from the past year to shed some light on the ongoing controversy regarding the best treatment options along the treatment continuum, from conservative to operative management, for three common ankle conditions: lateral ankle sprains, Achilles tendonitis, and Achilles tendon rupture.Entities:
