Abstract
We report on an adult patient with a right frontal astrocytoma, classification WHO II, who suffered from radionecrosis 3.5 years after surgery and combined radio- and chemotherapy. Beginning 8 years after initial diagnosis, repeated episodes of bilateral cerebral hemorrhage and cavitation occurred. This case description emphasizes the possibility of repeated hemorrhage as a delayed reaction to brain irradiation and chemotherapy.Entities:
