Abstract
Hydrogen transfer from artepillin C to cumylperoxyl radical proceeds via one-step hydrogen atom transfer rather than via electron transfer, the rate constant of which is comparable to that of (+)-catechin, indicating that artepillin C can act as an efficient antioxidant.Entities:
