Abstract
Data from the International Enhanced External Counterpulsation (EECP) Patient Registry were analyzed to determine which patient characteristics influence improvement in angina class with EECP treatment. Patients with severely disabling angina at baseline, men, and those without a history of smoking are more likely to improve their angina class after EECP, whereas those with diabetes mellitus, prior bypass surgery, and heart failure were less likely to benefit.Entities:
