Abstract
We analyzed 44 patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) from November 2001 to March 2003. Of 44 patients, 40 patients (29 men and 11 women; mean age 68.1 +/- 9.2 years) underwent off-pump CABG (OPCAB) [90.9%]. The mean number of bypass grafts was 2.53 +/- 0.78. In-hospital mortality was none and major complications except for one case of reexploration for bleeding were not seen. The early patency rate of over-all grafts was 94.6%. The quality of OPCAB was considered to be equivalent to conventional CABG.Entities:
