Abstract
Carbonated soft drinks can, when consumed regularly and in large quantities, cause severe dental erosion. In patients with anorexia nervosa the temptation to substitute these drinks for their regular diet has increased, since they are readily available, relatively cheap and their consumption is socially acceptable. The dental management of a young child suspected of having anorexia, who presented with severe dental erosion, is described.Entities:
