Abstract
We present 3 cases of recurrent epithelial ingrowth following laser in situ keratomileusis. All patients consented to flap lifting, epithelial ingrowth removal, and placement of fibrin glue (Tisseel(R) VH, Baxter) at the flap edges. Two of 3 eyes had no evidence of recurrent epithelial ingrowth within a relatively short follow-up. One eye that also had had radial keratotomy had a small nest of stable epithelial cells that had not progressed. Fibrin glue may be a useful adjunct to prevent recurrent epithelial ingrowth. There were no complications associated with its use.Entities:
